Job Title: Executive Bid Writer

We are seeking an experienced Executive Bid Writer to join our team at Vision Personnel Limited. As an Executive Bid Writer, you will play a key role in developing and writing high-quality bids that showcase our company's expertise and capabilities in the renewable energy industry.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and write winning bids that articulate our company's value proposition and solution narrative.
  • Coordinate and manage the bid process, ensuring timely completion and effective coordination with stakeholders.
  • Research and analyze content of tenders, and orchestrate responses from all disciplines to formulate winning bids.
  • Develop clear and concise bids that convey operational, technical, and commercial solutions.
  • Prepare written editorial content for inclusion in case studies, brochures, award submissions, marketing materials, and client handouts.
  • Interview internal members to develop technical information contributing to bid content.
  • Manage and develop the company knowledge bank for bid writing.
  • Present new content to the knowledge bank for potential reuse.
  • Attend and lead kick-off and storyboard sessions with bid team members.
  • Support and coach the existing bid coordinator/writer.
  • Attend exhibitions to develop knowledge on relevant industry talks.
  • Identify and rework existing pre-written content where relevant.
Requirements:
  • Working experience of writing, preparing, or coordinating business proposals or bids.
  • Industry experience in planned maintenance, refurbishment, renewables, retrofit, or construction.
  • Strong writing skills, with the ability to produce copy and translate technical information into plain English.
  • A proactive approach to work, with excellent organizational skills, self-motivation, and the ability to work in a team.
  • The ability to work to deadlines under pressure.
  • High attention to detail.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships with various stakeholders.
  • A reasonable level of business acumen and industry understanding.
Preferred Skills:
  • Degree in Writing, Business Management, Communications, or an academic background.
  • Experience in bid coordination, writing, or a related field.
  • Experience in social housing or renewable technology industries.
  • Experience of managing and updating a knowledge base.
