Shift Pattern: Part-time / Full-time

Pay Rate: Between £15 per hour

Leader Recruitment Group is seeking a committed individual to support a client in the York area who has complex needs, including Autism, Epilepsy, and Dissociative Identity Disorder (DID). The ideal candidate should be female, possess a driving license (own vehicle not required), and have a minimum of 6 months of experience working with these conditions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist with daily living tasks, including academic support, attending appointments, and engaging in fitness activities.
  • Encourage the client to develop social skills and foster independence.
  • Work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to ensure cohesive care and effective treatment strategies.
  • Document and track the client's progress and behavioral information.
  • Ensure a safe and nurturing environment for the client.

Essential Skills:

  • Prior experience in supporting individuals with Acquired Brain Injury (ABI) and Personality Disorders (PD) is essential.
  • Familiarity with applied behavior analysis (ABA) principles and techniques.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with the client, their family, and team members. Fluency in English is required.
  • A valid UK driving license and business insurance are necessary.
  • Minimum of 6 months experience in a care role.
