Sellick Partnership is actively seeking a Finance Assistant for our esteemed Public Sector client.

Key Duties:

1. Execute daily banking activities, including Allpay and housing benefit transactions.
2. Conduct daily and weekly rent processing for clients.
3. Generate sales invoices on a weekly, monthly, and quarterly basis.
4. Prepare monthly bank reconciliations for the group entities.
5. Complete monthly sales ledger reconciliations for the group entities.
6. Organize weekly cash collections for bank deposits.
7. Manage insurance claims and produce reconciliation reports.

Ideal Candidate Profile:

The successful candidate will possess:

- A minimum of two years' experience in roles such as finance assistant, sales ledger assistant, or similar positions.
- A solid grasp of bookkeeping and accounting principles.
- Proficiency in creating spreadsheets and utilizing financial functions in Microsoft Excel.
- Familiarity with accounting software, such as Open Accounts or similar systems, is advantageous.
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to spot numerical discrepancies.
- GCSE qualifications and progression towards an AAT or equivalent certification.
- Capability to work under pressure to meet monthly deadlines, alongside excellent communication skills and an understanding of quality customer service.
