About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Catering Specialist to lead and support our nursery teams in the delivery of nutritious meals that foster healthy eating habits and overall well-being and development of the children in our care.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement nutritious menu plans that meet the dietary needs of children.
  • Maintain the Food Manual and accompanying processes to ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements.
  • Collaborate with the Operational Support Teams to achieve and maintain the best EHO outcomes at inspection.
  • Provide subject matter expertise to support and develop induction programmes that ensure confidence in Grandir UK Food Safety requirements amongst colleagues.
  • Investigate and learn from food-related incidents, and facilitate good two-way dialogue between Catering Staff and the Operational Support Teams.
Requirements
  • Enhanced DBS check required.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with other departments.
  • Strong knowledge of food safety and nutrition.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
