Senior Associate - Business Technology

Alvarez & Marsal is a leading global professional services firm that provides advisory, business performance improvement, and turnaround management services. We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Associate to join our Business Technology team in EMEA.

About the Role

This is a fantastic opportunity to contribute to the delivery of Business Technology projects, leveraging your digital and technology expertise to drive transformation and improvement. You will work closely with our clients to identify disruptive transformation levers and manage political complexity to generate significant and sustainable savings.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver major projects in areas such as Pre-deal due diligence, Post deal Integration and Carve outs, Strategic IT planning, Product Technology, Enterprise Architecture, Business Intelligence, Target Operating Model Design, Customer Management Platforms, IT Transformation programmes, Enterprise Resource Planning, IT Supplier Performance Management, Global IT Sourcing, Business Process Outsourcing and Digital Disruption;
  • Be proactive in industry events, ensuring the Company is perceived as a key player in the Digital & Technology Transformation space;
  • Work collaboratively as a core member of the team to review client's immediate and future issues and market position, and develop actionable options for strategic and performance improvement;
  • Develop and implement commercial and cost-effective solutions across IT Supplier Performance Management, Global IT Sourcing and Business Process Outsourcing;
  • Deliver the latest thinking within a highly competitive advisory marketplace and appreciate the challenges that businesses face in today's market.
Requirements

We are looking for a successful track record in IT / Technology performance improvement at a top-tier strategy or advisory firm, with proven ability to work in international teams and create measurable and identifiable improvements in Technology & IT. A very strong academic record, including robust analytical rigour, is essential. Advanced PowerPoint and Excel skills are required, and fluent business-level English is essential. Additional European language skills are highly desirable.
