Aspris Children's Services is on the lookout for a dedicated sanitation specialist to enhance our support team. We seek individuals who are passionate about ensuring our facilities are safe and comfortable, while managing all facets of cleanliness. Your role will involve upholding exceptional standards of hygiene in our residences, requiring a flexible mindset and the ability to respond promptly to requests for assistance.
At Aspris, our mission revolves around the future success of our students who have transitioned from traditional education due to their social, emotional, or mental health challenges. The children engage in a diverse curriculum, enriched with numerous learning opportunities, taught alongside self-regulation and social skills, all within a warm, welcoming, and nurturing environment.
Position Details:
The working hours for this role are 5 hours per day, Monday to Friday, during term time (39 weeks per year). We also offer a part-time option of 2.5 hours per day, Monday to Friday, during term time (39 weeks per year), which can be discussed as a job share during the interview process.

Candidate Requirements:
The ideal candidate will possess experience in daily cleaning routines and ensure that necessary documentation is completed. A solid understanding of health and safety regulations relevant to this role is essential, along with the following attributes:
Effective Communication: Your role may involve interacting with young individuals who may exhibit various emotional and behavioral challenges, including autism and ADHD.
Organizational Skills: You should be confident and organized in maintaining records, ensuring that issues are documented in our internal systems, and keeping up with routine maintenance checks.
Attention to Detail: Each task may present unique challenges, so being attentive to their needs and identifying areas for support is crucial.
