Mechanical Engineering Project Coordinator - Water Non-Infrastructure Initiatives


We are seeking a Mechanical Engineering Project Coordinator to join a leading Tier 1 contractor in the building and civil engineering sector. This role offers a stable and expanding project portfolio focused on long-term water management frameworks.


This position is ideal for those looking for consistent local engagements within the Thames Valley region.


The Mechanical Engineering Project Coordinator will oversee project deliverables associated with the Client Framework Agreements.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Take overall responsibility for collaborating with designers and suppliers to effectively deliver all mechanical aspects across a diverse project portfolio.
  • Engage with the commercial team to source all manufactured mechanical components, emphasizing offsite assembly and modular construction.
  • Foster a positive team culture and environment to enhance wellbeing and performance on projects.
  • Conduct factory inspections and quality audits, ensuring the highest standards of quality and customer satisfaction for all mechanical installations.


Qualifications and Skills Required:

  • Possession of a relevant CSCS card.
  • SMSTS Qualification, with SSSTS as a minimum requirement.
  • Technical expertise in Civil, Electrical, and Mechanical Water & Waste Water Operations.
  • Experience in both pre-production and production mechanical project engineering is advantageous.
  • Familiarity with Modern Methods of Construction (MMC), Lean Construction, Agile Programme Management, and Production Thinking techniques that enhance programme, cost, and quality performance.
