Key Responsibilities- Support all aspects of Health and Safety in the business, ensuring compliance with legislation and maintaining high standards.
- Collaborate with the H&S team to implement the ISO 14001 system, ensuring site setup is to a high standard and compliant with H&S legislation.
- Manage the company health and safety policy, update documentation, and record equipment PAT testing.
- Conduct internal audits, provide training, and maintain accident frequency rate documentation.
- Provide solutions to eliminate or reduce accidents, manage Health & Safety on site, and carry out site visits and audits.
- Report findings and planned improvements to the Managing Director.
- Attend pre-start meetings and chair Health and Safety review meetings with the management team.
To succeed in this role, you'll need:
- Motivation, passion, and a desire to progress and develop your skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, time management, and the ability to use your own initiative.
- A few years' experience in H&S, either as an Advisor looking to step up or a Manager seeking a change.
- Onsite Construction H&S experience, with a background in Manufacturing or a specialist sector.
