About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Process Operator to join our team at Essity's Prudhoe Paper Mill. As a key member of the Unifibres team, you will be responsible for operating and improving the operational efficiency of the de-inking process.

Main Responsibilities

  • Operate and maintain the de-inking process, ensuring optimal performance and efficiency.
  • Work closely with the Team Leader to identify and implement process improvements.
  • Collaborate with the shift team to ensure the performance of machines and equipment within the Unifibres plant.
  • Support the operation of the plant according to fixed specifications and Standard Operating Procedures.
  • Contribute to the maintenance of a safe working environment, adhering to Essity's safety standards.

Requirements

  • Experience in a similar role, preferably in a paper mill or de-inking process environment.
  • Current counterbalance forklift truck licence.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  • Ability to follow instructions and maintain accurate records.
