Lead Our Charities Practice

At Blake Morgan LLP, we are seeking a senior charities lawyer to lead our Charities practice and manage our charities team. As a Legal Director or Partner, you will be responsible for providing expert advice to over 500 charities, not-for-profit, and social enterprise organisations in England and Wales.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead our Charities practice and manage our charities team
  • Provide first-class legal advice to a developed and established client base across England and Wales
  • Contribute to new business attraction and service a very loyal client base
  • Handle Charity Commission, member, and trustee issues, as well as trading and income generation matters
  • Be comfortable dealing with reorganisations and providing commercial and legal advice to trusts, companies, associations, Charitable Incorporated Organisations, Community Benefit Societies
Requirements
  • Strong academics and technical ability
  • Substantial experience in acting for charities, schools, and other not-for-profit organisations
  • Exemplary client relationship management skills and commitment to service excellence
  • A willingness to support others and a flexible team-focused approach
