Job Summary

We are looking for a Senior Care Assistant to lead a team of Care Assistants and manage the day-to-day needs of our residents. As a key member of our care team, you will be responsible for delivering the highest standard of care, ensuring all areas are kept clean and tidy, and supporting family members and visitors.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead a team of Care Assistants and manage the day-to-day needs of our residents.
  • Deliver the highest standard of care to our residents.
  • Ensure all areas are kept clean and tidy.

  • Assist with meals and daily activities.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • At least a minimum of 2 years' experience in delivering care or as a Senior Care Assistant.
  • Level 3 qualification in Health and Social Care (or willing to sign up or working towards it).
  • Trained in medication administration.
  • Excellent people and customer service skills.
  • Ability to induct and supervise junior staff.
  • Time management skills to delegate tasks within a team.
  • Good communication skills – verbal and writing.
  • Caring attitude.
  • Flexible and reliable.
