Learning Support Assistant

This provision caters to students with moderate learning difficulties, requiring tailored support to manage everyday activities.
We welcome applicants with an open-minded and 'can-do' attitude, willing to learn and adapt in the role.
Key Responsibilities:- Provide individualized support to students with learning difficulties or disabilities in a specialist school setting
- Collaborate with teachers to deliver tailored learning activities and individual education plans
- Assist with personal care and mobility needs, as required
- Monitor and record student progress, behaviour, and well-being
- Work closely with other professionals, parents, and caregivers to support student development
- GCSEs (or equivalent) in English and Maths
- Experience working with individuals with learning difficulties or disabilities
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team
- Understanding of different learning styles and strategies
- Ability to adapt learning materials to meet individual student needs
- Knowledge of safeguarding procedures and policies
- Normal working hours within the school term calendar
- May involve some physical demands related to student care

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This is a temporary position, with the possibility of becoming permanent at a later date.
