Role: Maintenance Engineer - Electrical
Location: Operating from various local sites as required.
Employment Type: Permanent, full-time
Working Hours: 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday - Includes on-call duties and potential overtime.
Your Responsibilities:
- Maintain facilities in accordance with the Performance Standards outlined in the Project Agreement.
- Perform planned, responsive, and periodic maintenance tasks, either independently or in collaboration with other maintenance professionals, including:
- Servicing and repairing lighting and power distribution systems.
- Conducting reactive repairs on various lighting and power systems.
- Maintaining and repairing motors and pumps.
- Demonstrate competence in Building Management Systems (BMS).
- Conduct Portable Appliance Testing (PAT) competently.
- Execute maintenance tasks to align with the Client's objectives.
Candidate Profile:
To excel in this role, you should be a qualified Electrician with substantial experience in a maintenance capacity within a commercial environment. A City & Guilds or equivalent qualification is essential, including the 18th Edition certification. Experience with electrical power distribution systems is required, and familiarity with electrical testing is preferred. A valid UK Driving Licence is mandatory.
Additional Requirements:
An Enhanced DBS Check will be necessary prior to commencing employment.
