A warm and welcoming family in Leigh-On-Sea, Essex, is seeking a loving, creative, and organised full-time nanny to join their household. This is a fantastic role as their long-standing nanny goes on maternity leave, offering an exciting opportunity for a dedicated caregiver to make a meaningful impact in the lives of two young children.

About the Family

The family has two children, a fun-loving 4-year-old girl and an energetic 2-year-old boy. The 4-year-old attends preschool three days a week, giving the nanny dedicated time with their younger child. Both children are happy, active, and thrive with the support of a nurturing nanny.

Key Responsibilities
  • Sole-charge care for both children, ensuring they are safe, loved, and happy.
  • Plan fun, educational outings, play dates, and creative activities to foster development.
  • Join in on swimming lessons and other fun activities like gymnastics and music classes.
  • Encourage outdoor play and physical exercise, making sure the children stay active and engaged.
  • Prepare healthy, delicious meals and snacks to support their development.
  • Handle light nursery duties, such as tidying up after activities, organising toys, and children's laundry.
Requirements
  • A fully enhanced DBS (Criminal Record Check), preferably on the update service.
  • A valid Paediatric First Aid certificate.
  • Proven professional experience caring for children in a sole-charge role.
  • Experience working with preschool-aged children.
  • A full driving licence and your own vehicle.
What We Offer

Hours: 4 full days a week (Monday-Thursday or Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday), 7am-7pm (48 hours per week)

Salary: £16.50 gross per hour

Contract Term: 6-month Maternity Cover (with the possibility for further opportunities)
