Join Our Team as a Full Stack Engineer

We're looking for a talented Full Stack Engineer to join our team at Discover, a leading digital banking and payments company. As a Full Stack Engineer, you'll play a key role in building and releasing reliable software systems at scale.

About the Role

As a Full Stack Engineer, you'll be responsible for analyzing, designing, programming, testing, and deploying new user stories and features with high quality. You'll also tend to Associate Application Engineers by providing learning tasks and directing their work. Additionally, you'll contribute to and lead technology communities at Discover.

Responsibilities

  • Analyze and design new user stories and features with high quality.
  • Program, test, and deploy new features to production.
  • Tend to Associate Application Engineers and direct their work.
  • Contribute to and lead technology communities at Discover.

Requirements

At a minimum, you'll need:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
  • Strong experience with core Java, Linux, and in-memory databases.

Preferred Qualifications

Bonus Points If You Have:

  • Experience with software testing principles and methodologies.
  • Experience working with databases and NoSQL databases.
  • Proven skills in high availability and scalability design.
  • Experience with cloud environments such as PCF or AWS.
