We are seeking a skilled and experienced Clinical Assessor to join our team at SJB Services UK Ltd. As a Clinical Assessor, you will play a crucial role in assessing individuals and determining how their disabilities or conditions affect their work life.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct thorough medical assessments of individuals to determine their eligibility for benefits
- Use your clinical expertise to gather medical history and perform physical examinations
- Produce accurate and concise reports for the Department of Work & Pensions (DWP)
- Meet with individuals face-to-face and via telephone/video to conduct assessments
- NMC Level 1 Registered Nurse with a minimum of 12 months broad-based clinical post-registration experience within the past 5 years
- Experience of working with adults in a range of clinical situations
- NMC-registered with proof of Continuous Professional Development
- IT skills and experience of using a range of software
- Self-aware and focused on professional development
- Motivated to contribute to quality customer service, demonstrating empathy, respect and sensitivity in assessment delivery
