Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement financial plans and strategies to achieve organizational goals
  • Manage and oversee the financial reporting, monitoring, and reconciling of college funding

  • Design, set up, and validate financial systems and sub-systems

  • Manage the areas of Accounts Payable, Grants Management, and General Accounting

Requirements:

  • Master's Degree in Business, Accounting, Administration, or related field from an accredited institution
  • Significant managerial experience, including broad-based financial experience and senior-level management
  • Strong management, interpersonal, analytical, and organizational skills
  • Excellent record of leadership in policy formation, planning, assessment, and evaluation
  • Demonstrated expertise in the development and implementation of strategic plans
  • Strong working knowledge of financial systems and information technologies

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Significant experience in higher education and/or state government administration
  • Thorough understanding of Federal and State administrative procedures
  • Knowledge of Agency Risk Management and Internal Control Standards (ARMICS) and federal financial aid regulations
