About the Role

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated individual to join our team as a Live-In Care Assistant. As a Care Assistant, you will provide personalized support and care to our clients in their own homes, promoting their independence and dignity.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide live-in care in clients' homes, offering companionship and support with daily activities.
  • Assist with bathing, dressing, and grooming, as well as support with continence care.
  • Help with medication reminders and administration, as well as perform light housekeeping tasks.
  • Accompany clients to appointments and outings, and assist with shopping and deliveries.
  • Support clients to be active members in their care, involving them in various activities and promoting their independence.
Requirements
  • Ability to treat and care for clients and their property with dignity and respect.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to listen and build relationships with clients and their families.
  • Ability to adapt to change quickly and make common sense decisions at short notice.
  • Willingness to seek guidance when needed and follow instructions.
  • Ability to adapt to various living environments and locations.
  • Excellent time-keeper with strong organizational skills.
