Job Title: Mechanical Supervisor

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Mechanical Supervisor to join our team. As a Mechanical Supervisor, you will be responsible for leading a team of mechanical engineers and technicians to ensure the safe and efficient operation of our production equipment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead a team of mechanical engineers and technicians to ensure the safe and efficient operation of production equipment
  • Develop and implement maintenance plans to minimize downtime and optimize production
  • Conduct regular safety inspections and audits to ensure compliance with company policies and industry regulations
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and implement process improvements
  • Develop and maintain relationships with vendors and suppliers to ensure timely delivery of spare parts and equipment
  • Monitor and report on team performance, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions as needed

Requirements:

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in a mechanical or engineering role
  • Relevant mechanical trade qualification
  • Extensive knowledge and experience of mechanical and components and maintenance/repair/troubleshooting experience relative to position
  • Excellent communication and IT skills to enable effective liaison with clients, vendors and other staff members
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks and projects
  • Strong leadership and team management skills
