Senior Civil Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Civil Engineer to lead our civil engineering team in the development and implementation of innovative solutions for our renewable energy projects.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee and execute the engineering necessary to create projects that are safe, buildable, and cost-effective
  • Conduct civil engineering evaluations to identify and manage project risks throughout their life cycle
  • Offer technical guidance within Group Engineering, specifically for drainage design and flood risk management
  • Ensure consistency and uphold high technical standards across drainage, flood risk, and other civil engineering domains
  • Supervise consultants and contractors engaged in specialised tasks, such as surveys or flood risk assessments
  • Collaborate with project stakeholders and advise on engineering factors that influence safety, quality, cost, and scheduling
  • Spearhead the development and implementation of innovative solutions to enhance project value and reduce costs
  • Mentor junior team members and assist in their professional development

Requirements:

  • Degree in Civil Engineering or related subject, or relevant qualification and suitable engineering experience
  • Practical application of engineering knowledge to civil engineering projects
  • Management of health and safety and risk mitigation in design
  • Development and implementation of new processes and technology
