Job Title: Mental Health Support Worker

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Mental Health Support Worker to join our team at Gray Healthcare. As a Mental Health Support Worker, you will play a vital role in supporting individuals with complex needs, disabilities, and long-term conditions to live independently in their own homes.

About the Role:

As a Mental Health Support Worker, you will be responsible for providing high-quality care and support to individuals with autism and learning disabilities. You will work closely with our multidisciplinary team to develop and implement personalized care plans, ensuring that each individual receives the best possible support to achieve their goals and aspirations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Providing emotional support and companionship to individuals with autism and learning disabilities
  • Assisting with daily living tasks, such as personal care, meal preparation, and household chores
  • Supporting individuals to engage in activities and hobbies that promote their physical and mental well-being
  • Developing and maintaining relationships with individuals, families, and other professionals to ensure seamless care and support
  • Participating in training and development opportunities to enhance your skills and knowledge

Requirements:

  • Full UK driving license
  • Experience working with individuals with autism and learning disabilities
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work flexibly, including evenings and weekends
  • Enhanced DBS check and satisfactory references
