About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Resident Maintenance Engineer to join our team at Swisslog in Redditch, United Kingdom. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our automated machinery, including cranes, conveyors, vertical lifts, and a deep freeze high bay.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform breakdown and planned preventative maintenance on a variety of automated machinery, adhering to manufacturers' recommendations and industry standards.
  • Work in a cold environment (-18 degrees) and prioritize system faults to ensure minimal downtime.
  • Undertake scheduled repairs and accurately record all work undertaken.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement projects and ensure quality of output at all times.
  • Comply with Health & Safety legislation and maintain a safe working environment.
