Parkinson Lee Executive Search is currently retained partners to a leading global Engineering Group in the appointment of an Executive Director - UK Operations, based in the UK.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and drive the UK team to deliver business performance and achieve budget and profit optimisation for this £15M turnover business, during a period of operational change.
- Oversee the newly created 'Small Works/Aftermarket' Business unit and demonstrate thorough understanding of customer contracts and frameworks.
- Deliver projects on time, within/under budget, and to technical and commercial specification, ensuring robust supply chain governance and auditing in place.
- Manage a team of 5 direct reports and an indirect team of 70, delivering into a niche marketspace with a demanding customer base.
- Previous board experience and a proven track record of P&L management of companies between £20M - £40M t/o within the Engineering Services Sector (Mechanical or Electrical Engineering or associated industries).
Requirements:
- A high level of commercial and financial awareness.
- A strong Project Manager, through full life cycle of projects exceeding £10m GBP including contract law.
- A proven business leader to join this organisation during a period of transformation, strategy realignment and growth.
