Job Title: Account Broker

Lawes Insurance Recruitment is seeking an experienced Account Broker to join our team in Glasgow city centre. As an Account Broker, you will play a crucial role in providing exceptional customer service and broking services to our commercial insurance clients.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage existing business for commercial and corporate clients, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction and retention.
  • Collaborate with account executives to attend client visits and develop strong relationships with key stakeholders.
  • Negotiate with insurers to secure competitive rates and build robust relationships.
  • Attend industry events to stay up-to-date with market trends and best practices.
Requirements:
  • Minimum of 3 years' experience in commercial insurance broking, with a strong understanding of commercial insurance products.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of property, motor, EL, PL, commercial combined, business interruption, and other relevant insurance products.
  • Excellent negotiating and relationship-building skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients and insurers.
  • Acturis experience is essential, as well as being computer literate.
