Prospero Teaching is seeking a dedicated and experienced SEN Teaching Assistant to join our team in a special needs school catering for children with autism and social emotional and mental health needs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support students with special educational needs in a classroom setting
  • Assist teachers with lesson planning and implementation
  • Provide individualized support to students with varying needs
  • Collaborate with teachers and other support staff to develop and implement individualized education plans

Requirements:

  • Experience working with students with special educational needs
  • Understanding of child development and learning theories
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team

What We Offer:

  • Competitive hourly rate of £87.90
  • Temporary and long-term contracts available
  • Full-time hours, Monday to Friday, term time only
