Job Title: Field Service & Repair Engineer - Welding

We are seeking an experienced Field Service & Repair Engineer - Welding to join our client on a full-time permanent basis. The successful candidate will be based in Milton Keynes but will be required to travel across the UK with overnight stays expected.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Carry out field service and repair work on welding systems, including inverters, torches, hose packs, and automated systems.
  • Undertake servicing and calibration of welding equipment, including software installation and update.
  • Provide technical support to customers, troubleshooting issues at customer premises and at the main centre, via phone and email.
  • Offer pre- and after-sales support, including attending company trade fairs, exhibitions, and events.
  • Maintain and manage stock levels, participating in yearly stock takes.
Requirements:
  • Relevant electrical qualifications to carry out electrical repairs.
  • Strong knowledge of manual electrode, TIG, and MIG/MAG welding processes.
  • Good IT skills, including MS Office, CRM systems, and SharePoint.
