Our Mission
Our team, composed of PhD researchers, has pioneered measurable indicators of default risk and has established a leading reputation in predicting defaults. We collaborate with top brokers and market makers in digital assets to advance the industry.
Position Overview
We are in search of a graduate blockchain developer to contribute to our research team based in London.
Key Responsibilities
- Enhancing and expanding our rating inputs from various blockchains through primary data acquisition, including wallet balances and transaction flows.
- Creating metrics derived from blockchain data for real-time risk assessment and early detection of potential risks.
- Identifying key wallets and generating connectivity metrics for significant counterparties, along with macro network analysis for comprehensive risk evaluation.
Qualifications
- A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, or a related field from a recognized institution.
- Proficiency in Python or R, with the capability to program in other blockchain-related languages such as Java, Rust, or Go.
- Experience with AWS and associated infrastructure tools including Docker, Kubernetes, Terraform, or Ansible.
- Familiarity with operating blockchain wallets, nodes, and smart contracts, coupled with a strong interest in cryptocurrency and decentralized finance.
- A drive and enthusiasm to thrive in a commercial start-up environment.
Compensation and Benefits
- Competitive first-year salary ranging from £40k to £55k based on qualifications, along with employer pension contributions.
- Potential to acquire equity in Agio through a share option scheme.
- Flexible work arrangements allowing for remote work 3-4 days per week.
