Regulatory Reporting Analyst

Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Regulatory Reporting Analyst to join our team at Legal & General. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the accurate and timely reporting of trade and position information across various financial products, ensuring compliance with regulations such as AIFMD, MMFR, and UCITS.

Key Responsibilities

  • Execute periodic processes following standard operating procedures to ensure regulatory compliance with AIFMD, MMFR, and UCITS reporting requirements.
  • Ensure prompt delivery of data from various teams and perform thorough validation to ensure accuracy and completeness.
  • Prepare and submit regulatory filings, while providing oversight throughout the process.
  • Ensure reporting issues and delays are communicated to the Regulatory Reporting Manager promptly.
  • Conduct reconciliations to identify and address discrepancies promptly.
  • Maintain the quality and accuracy of reporting while seeking opportunities to enhance productivity.
  • Analyse regulatory documents, stay informed about regulatory changes and developments.
  • Collaborate with various teams across the organisation, including Front Office, IT, Operations, change management, and Third-Party providers to investigate and resolve reporting challenges.

Requirements

  • Proactive self-starter with strong time management skills, attention to detail, and ability to prioritise tasks effectively.
  • Proficient in PC skills, particularly Microsoft Excel, with experience in managing large datasets being advantageous.
  • Ability to follow procedures, identify issues, and drive resolution.
  • Excellent communication and client service skills.
  • Prior experience in the financial services industry is preferred.
  • Minimum of Maths and English grade C and above at G.C.S.E.
