Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Commercial Gas Engineer to join our team at PDA Search and Selection Ltd. As a Commercial Gas Engineer, you will be responsible for carrying out PPM and reactive HVAC maintenance across various sites in Cardiff.

Key Responsibilities
  • Carry out PPM and reactive maintenance on HVAC systems across small, medium, and large sites.
  • Be the first point of contact for maintenance requests and ensure timely resolution.
  • Complete maintenance tasks to the highest standards, adhering to company Health and Safety Policy.
  • Maintain and repair mechanical equipment, including fans, pumps, and compressors, to recognized standards.
  • Identify non-repairable faults and report to the HVAC Supervisor.
  • Conduct surveys and complete reports as required by management.
Requirements
  • Qualified Commercial Gas/Heating Engineer with experience in multi-site maintenance.
  • NVQ Level 3 in Commercial and Industrial Gas, Building Services/Heat & Ventilation.
  • Ability to work at heights and in confined spaces.
  • Hands-on, flexible, and can-do approach to work.

We offer a competitive salary, company vehicle, company pension scheme, BUPA (single cover), death in service, and 33 days holiday (including bank holidays). On-call/standby is 1 week in every 4.
