About the Role:

We are seeking a highly motivated and empathetic individual to join our team as a Family Time Contact Supervisor at Swan Family Centres Limited. As a key member of our dynamic team, you will play a crucial role in delivering a high-quality service to families.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Co-ordinate and supervise family time between children and their birth families at contact centres and within the community.
  • Complete detailed recordings of observations during sessions and liaise with social workers to escalate any concerns.
  • Transport and escort children and young people as required.
  • Observe and supervise contact between children, young persons, and parents, including other family members.
  • Risk manage and intervene as necessary to safeguard children.
  • Develop and maintain accurate and factual reports of contact sessions within agreed timeframes.
  • Attend and participate in planning meetings or reviews as required.
  • Adhere to safeguarding procedures and report any concerns promptly.
  • Participate in supervision and training courses to enhance skills and knowledge.

Requirements:

  • NVQ level 3 in children and young people workforce or related fields (essential).
  • A current DBS for working with adults and children (we can assist with the application process).

Desirable Qualifications:

  • A driving licence and access to a car (desirable but not essential).

About the Team:

We are a child-focused, creative, and supportive team that prioritizes being a good corporate parent. Our team members are empathetic, have excellent communication skills, and are non-judgmental in their practices. This role is ideal for social work students or those looking to pursue a career in social care.

Working Arrangements:

  • 8-hour shifts
  • Day shifts
  • Weekend availability
  • Overtime
