Job Title: Senior Cloud Security Engineer

Oracle is seeking a highly skilled Senior Cloud Security Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our security team, you will be responsible for designing and implementing secure cloud infrastructure solutions that meet the needs of our customers.

About the Role

We are looking for a talented engineer with a strong background in cloud security, who can work collaboratively with our team to develop and implement secure cloud infrastructure solutions. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of cloud security principles, including data encryption, security controls, and visibility.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and implement secure cloud infrastructure solutions that meet the needs of our customers
  • Collaborate with our team to develop and implement cloud security solutions
  • Develop and maintain cloud security policies and procedures
  • Conduct security risk assessments and provide recommendations for mitigation
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest cloud security trends and technologies
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related technical field
  • Strong development experience in Java, C++, C#, or similar OO languages
  • Strong knowledge of data structures, algorithms, operating systems, and distributed systems fundamentals
  • Practical familiarity with networking protocols (TCP/IP, and standard network architectures)
  • Good understanding of databases (SQL & NoSQL), storage and distributed persistence technologies
  • Experience building multi-tenant, virtualized infrastructure
  • Experience building continuous integration/deployment pipelines with robust testing and deployment schedules
  • Expertise in applying threat modeling or other risk identification techniques to develop security solutions
  • Experience and understanding of Cryptography, DDoS, CVE, CIS, SAST, DAST, or similar security and compliance knowledge
