About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Associate Electrical Engineer to join our Building Services team at Ramboll. As a key member of our team, you will play a crucial role in shaping the future of sustainable building services and contributing to innovative solutions that set new standards in our industry.

Your Key Responsibilities

  • Mentor and develop a team of Building Services Engineers, providing technical guidance and support to ensure the delivery of high-quality projects.
  • Protect and develop the quality of our designs, ensuring technical excellence and pastoral mentoring to the mechanical team locally and nationally.
  • Drive and deliver quality projects profitably and to the satisfaction of our clients, with a focus on sustainable and net-zero carbon design.
  • Complete business development in the local market, identifying new opportunities and building relationships with clients and stakeholders.
  • Liaise and interact with other UK Building Services teams to optimize technical direction and use of standard procedures and digital tools.
  • Manage technical risks, negotiate scope of services, and prepare fee proposals to ensure the successful delivery of projects.

About You

We are looking for a Chartered Engineer with a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent, with previous experience in supporting and coordinating all aspects of project delivery (electrical bias). You should be forward-thinking and enthusiastic about digital design innovation and 'smart design' in increasingly digitalized construction arenas.

You will have a high degree of technical competence, with demonstrable appreciation of sustainable/net-zero carbon design, and extensive client-facing skills, experienced at presenting to clients with a varied and comprehensive project portfolio.
