About the Role

The GAP Group Limited is seeking a skilled Mobile Plant Mechanic to join our team. As a key member of our Plant and Tool division, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the efficient servicing and maintenance of our fleet of equipment.

The Job

As a Mobile Plant Mechanic, you will be responsible for:

  • Attending customer sites to maintain, identify, and repair faults or damage to our fleet equipment
  • Updating service records accurately and efficiently
  • Working effectively under pressure to meet customer demands
  • Providing exceptional customer service and support

About You

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Proven experience working as a plant mechanic/fitter in a field-based role
  • Sound and current knowledge of heavy plant machinery maintenance
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • A customer-focused approach and ability to work effectively under pressure
  • A valid driving license
