Job Description:
We are seeking a reliable and experienced 7.5 Tonne Delivery Driver to fill a key role in our logistics team. In this position, you will be responsible for the safe and efficient delivery of goods to customers, ensuring timely and accurate service while representing our company with professionalism.
Key Responsibilities:
- Safely Operate a 7.5-Tonne Vehicle: Deliver products to customer locations while adhering to all health, safety, and road regulations.
- Load and Unload Goods: Ensure proper handling and safety at all times, maintaining a high level of attention to detail.
- Plan and Follow Delivery Routes: Meet deadlines and optimize efficiency by carefully planning and executing delivery routes.
- Perform Routine Vehicle Checks: Ensure the road-worthiness of the vehicle by conducting regular checks and maintenance.
- Provide Excellent Customer Service: Address any delivery-related concerns and provide a high level of customer satisfaction.
Requirements:
- Valid UK Category C1 Driving License: Possess a valid license for operating a 7.5-tonne vehicle.
- Full Driver Certificate of Professional Competence (CPC): Hold a valid CPC certificate.
- Digital Tachograph Card: Possess a valid digital tachograph card.
- Previous Experience as a Delivery Driver: Have previous experience as a delivery driver, preferably with 7.5-tonne vehicles.
- Good Physical Fitness: Be physically fit for loading and unloading goods.
- Strong Organisational Skills: Possess strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent Communication Skills: Have excellent communication skills and a customer-focused attitude.
