Job Description

The Project Planner plays a crucial role in supporting site management in achieving key performance indicators (KPIs) related to the safe, efficient, and optimized execution of maintenance.

This position is responsible for strategically planning and interfacing with site management to reduce lost resource-based activity (RBA). The Project Planner is accountable for building and maintaining the yearly maintenance plan before and during execution, ensuring seamless communication with the O&M Site Coordinator and updating plans accordingly.

The Project Planner advises site management on risk and opportunities related to the plan and reports maintenance periods and planning forecasts to the wider organization.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Administer asset SAP systems to ensure compliance with the high-level Primevera P6 plan.
  • Develop and manage site Operation and Maintenance plans for all offshore works, including yearly maintenance, campaigns, HV, BOP, blade repair, and other activities.
  • Continuously update plans to handle unforeseen events, such as WTG restrictions, tool shortages, and vessel breakdowns.
  • Model and identify changes throughout the year in planning and provide recommendations to site management on risks and opportunities.
  • Maintain the visual scheduling board to ensure visualization of progress and status.
  • Strategically bundle work to reduce production loss.
  • Resource management to support site, including demand forecasting, proposing ways to balance manpower with tasks, and updating asset SAP systems.
  • Translate long-term plans into execution plans in cooperation with Scope responsible personnel.
  • Plan logistic solutions to maximize time in the WTG and minimize travel time/distance.
  • Prioritize Health, Safety, Environment, and Quality within the region support function.
  • Accountable for data in the area of responsibility to Day2Readyness preparing sites out of warranty.

  • Success criteria/KPIs can be found in the individual Performance Dialogue.
Stakeholders and Main Interfaces:
  • Manager of Regional Support.
  • Operations Managers.
  • Head of UK.
Qualifications:
  • Superuser in SAP.
  • Proven track record and experience in work planning.
  • High level of communication skill and excellent problem-solving skills.
  • Knowledge of planning tools, such as Primavera, Shoreline, or similar.
  • Good presentation and administrative skills.
  • IT-Intermediate to advanced level of MS Word, Excel, and MS Outlook.
  • Ability to prioritize own workload and organize time and tasks efficiently and be proactive.

Fluent in English, spoken as well as written.
