Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the New Product Introduction (NPI) process to facilitate a seamless transition into production, including tasks such as Routing Creation & Maintenance, Electronic Standard Operating Procedures, Tooling Design, and Validation.
  • Support production teams in meeting targets aligned with the production schedule.
  • Drive continuous enhancements in process performance, equipment efficiency, and production methodologies in a cost-effective manner that aligns with business goals.
  • Collaborate within a cross-functional team to address customer feedback, engaging in 8D investigations, and executing Containment Actions, Root Cause Analysis, and Corrective Actions.
  • Document and manage process modifications through Engineering Change Notes, Engineering Trials, Manufacturing Change Notes, and Concessions.
  • Utilize data analytics to assess process performance and initiate relevant improvement initiatives, including Cost Reduction, Up-time Enhancements, Capacity Increases, and Defect Minimization.


Qualifications:

  • A minimum of HNC level qualification in a relevant Engineering discipline, complemented by a completed Apprenticeship.
  • At least 5 years of experience in a Process or Manufacturing Engineering role within a mechanical engineering context.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of Lean Manufacturing Principles and Six Sigma methodologies.
  • A mindset focused on Continuous Improvement, with substantial experience in CI and NPI projects.
  • Self-motivated with the ability to manage multiple projects effectively, alongside strong communication skills.
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD.
