About the Role:

Are you prepared for a position that involves extensive travel across the UK & Ireland, delivering hands-on technical assistance to clients in various sectors? As an Evening Technical Service Engineer, you will play a crucial role in our operations, ensuring optimal performance of our equipment in a variety of settings.


Your duties will encompass a wide array of mechanical and electrical responsibilities. From disassembling and reassembling different components to performing installations and commissioning tasks, each day will present new challenges.


You will excel in dynamic, high-pressure environments, utilizing your skills in basic wiring, PLC programming, and troubleshooting to reduce downtime and maintain seamless operations.


This position is not solely about repairing equipment; it is about establishing a reliable partnership with our clients, providing outstanding service that distinguishes us from our competitors.


Qualifications:
  • Minimum of 2-3 years' experience as a Technical Service Engineer or similar role, with a solid understanding of labeling systems or other types of packaging machinery.
  • Strong electrical foundation with basic PLC programming capabilities, wiring experience, and troubleshooting skills.
  • Robust mechanical knowledge, including familiarity with mechanical processes such as cutting and grinding.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, a positive attitude towards teamwork, and the ability to work independently in the field.
  • Valid driver's license.
  • Engineering-related qualification such as HNC/HND is preferred. Welding experience is advantageous but not mandatory.
