History Teacher Job Description

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced History teacher to join our team at a Hounslow school.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver high-quality History lessons to KS3 and KS4 students
  • Develop and implement engaging and challenging schemes of work
  • Assess and monitor student progress
  • Provide feedback and support to students to help them achieve their full potential
  • Collaborate with colleagues to ensure a cohesive and effective curriculum
  • Organize and lead extracurricular History activities and events

Requirements:

  • A degree in History or a related subject
  • Experience teaching History to KS3 and KS4 students
  • Familiarity with the UK curriculum
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • The ability to work collaboratively as part of a team

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This is a temporary position, and in some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
