Job Summary

Morson Talent is currently recruiting for a skilled Mechanical Fitter to work on behalf of a reputable Aerospace client based in the UK.

Key Responsibilities
  • Repair and overhaul of products to engineering drawings and instructions
  • Mechanical fitting and testing of Life Support equipment
  • Operator Control of Quality (OCQ) to ensure quality of assemblies meet Honeywell and customer standards
  • Achieve on-time delivery by completing work efficiently and to the required standard
  • Interpret engineering drawings and follow process layout and documentation procedures
  • Work effectively in a lean environment
Requirements
  • Engineering Apprenticeship (desirable but not essential)
  • Knowledge of Mechanical Assembly, Fitting, Testing, and Machining
  • High standard of Health and Safety
  • Adherence to Company Processes and Procedures
  • Working in a customer-focused environment and achieving targets
  • Working with Designers and Engineers
Attributes and Skills
  • Understanding of Aerospace practice and the significance of safety-critical work
  • PC literate
  • Ability to read and follow instructions
  • Essential skills in Health and Safety, teamwork, flexibility, and initiative
  • Continuous Improvement
Security Clearance
