Morson Talent is seeking a Senior Project Manager to oversee our Electrical Transmission projects across the country.

In this role, you will join our Electrical Transmission management team, responsible for directing the civil and mechanical & electrical (M&E) delivery teams involved in various infrastructure projects.

Our business unit collaborates with clients on a variety of Infrastructure Project Development and EPC Capital projects.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the construction team in executing a range of M&E projects from initiation through to completion.
  • Implement strategic health, safety, and environmental management practices to uphold the highest standards.
  • Ensure project delivery aligns with established time, cost, and quality benchmarks.
  • Collaborate closely with the planning team to maintain delivery schedules and monitor progress.
  • Foster a collaborative team environment among the Construction Manager, Commercial Manager, Design Lead, and Project Engineers.
  • Manage project risks effectively.
  • Provide leadership and guidance on technical and contractual issues for timely resolutions.
  • Contribute to new contract proposals utilizing industry expertise.
  • Assist in preparing monthly Cost Value Reports alongside the Commercial Manager.
  • Demonstrate commercial acumen to lead the management team in achieving financial targets.

Required Skills and Knowledge:

  • Extensive project management experience in electrical infrastructure.
  • Strong understanding of the Electrical Transmission and Distribution sector.
  • Proven ability to manage a diverse portfolio of projects with varying complexities.
  • Excellent communication and relationship management skills.
  • Solid grasp of commercial management principles.
  • Adaptable and flexible in approach.
  • Able to work independently as well as part of a team.
  • Possess a relevant Project Management qualification or equivalent.
  • A valid driving license and readiness to travel frequently.
