This is a key position within the finance team at Michael Page Finance, where you will play a crucial role in driving business partnering and financial management across the organization.
Key Responsibilities
- Cultivate and Sustain Relationships
Cultivate and sustain relationships with key stakeholders to promote effective decision-making and accountability.
Lead the Finance Business Partnering TeamLead, support, and develop the finance business partnering team, fostering high performance through consistent management.
Financial Analysis and ReportingAnalyze financial and non-financial data to produce and report meaningful management accounts and finance reports.
Forecasting and BudgetingCoordinate the quarterly forecast and annual budget production, highlighting key risks and opportunities to the Executive team and Board.
Support Budget HoldersAssist budget holders with coding and the budget cycle, ensuring variances are understood and addressed, with appropriate mitigations implemented.
Operational ExcellenceAdhere to all period end deadlines.
Transparency and IntegrityOperate with transparency and integrity, ensuring excellent record-keeping for audit purposes.
Reporting and PresentationsPrepare and present management accounts and reports to internal stakeholders.
Internal and External AuditsAssist with internal and external audits.
About You
We are looking for a proactive team player with a strong emphasis on relationship building, methodical, organized, efficient, and effective. You should have high attention to detail, excellent verbal and written communication skills, and the ability to motivate yourself and others. You should thrive under pressure and prioritize workload for yourself and your team. You should also be able to find ways to improve efficiency and effectiveness, make informed decisions, and know when to escalate issues. You should anticipate and address the information needs of the business and maintain excellent working relationships with internal stakeholders. A qualified accountant (CCAB) is essential for this role.
