Financial Support Specialist

RG Consultancy is working with a dynamic group of companies in Burnley who are seeking an experienced Accounts Assistant to join their team. Due to growth, the company has expanded its team in recent years, and this role is to replace someone who is due to retire.
The successful candidate will report to and act as general support for the Financial Director, working on the sales & purchase ledgers and general day-to-day finance administration.
Key Responsibilities:- Purchase ledger - matching invoices to delivery notes and gaining approval before processing onto the system
- Supplier statement reconciliation
- Resolving any invoice discrepancies
- Sales ledger - creating and sending invoices
- Monitoring of accounts inbox
- Support Finance Director with month end
This role would be ideal for someone with experience working in an accounts office and is confident with working independently. There will also be scope to pick up on extra responsibilities as the role develops.
