About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Nurse to join our team at Barchester Healthcare. As a Senior Nurse, you will be responsible for providing exceptional care to our residents with dementia, utilizing your leadership skills to create a safe and supportive environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assess the needs of new residents and implement individualized care plans
  • Lead and mentor a team of nurses to ensure high-quality care delivery
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care
  • Administer medications in accordance with NMC regulations
  • Support and develop the skills of newly qualified nurses

About You

To be successful in this role, you will need to be a Registered Nurse (RGN) with a current NMC registration and a mentoring or supervision qualification. You will also require experience in producing care plans and detailed risk assessments, as well as an up-to-date knowledge of clinical practices.
