Are you a skilled Nuclear Project Coordinator looking for a new opportunity within the energy sector? Our client, a prominent player in the nuclear field, is on the lookout for a dedicated professional to enhance their project management team.

Key Responsibilities:
As a Nuclear Project Coordinator, you will be responsible for:

  • Utilizing your extensive knowledge of project management principles to oversee the lifecycle of nuclear projects.
  • Employing Primavera P6 to develop and maintain comprehensive project schedules, ensuring all activities are logically sequenced and detailed.
  • Identifying critical project milestones and deliverables, including design materials and subcontractor contributions.
  • Implementing quality assurance procedures and change control processes to maintain project integrity.
  • Monitoring project risks and proactively addressing potential issues to ensure timely delivery.
  • Regularly updating project plans in response to scope changes as directed by the management team.
  • Tracking progress against established schedules and reporting status to project managers and stakeholders.
  • Participating in project meetings and providing detailed progress reports.
  • Collaborating with team members, clients, and subcontractors to ensure seamless project execution.
  • Supporting organizational objectives related to quality and health and safety.

Qualifications:
The ideal candidate will possess:

  • A bachelor's degree in project management or a related discipline.
  • Previous experience in the nuclear or defense sectors, or in other highly regulated industries such as oil and gas, rail, or pharmaceuticals.
  • A solid understanding of project management methodologies and the ability to apply various planning techniques effectively.
  • Experience in managing complex programs using techniques such as Earned Value Management (EVM), critical path analysis, and risk assessment.
  • The capability to identify and mitigate risks proactively.
  • A proactive approach to problem-solving and the ability to work independently.
