Job Type: Bank 0 Hour contract

Salary: £16.10 per hour

About the Role

Shaw healthcare is seeking a skilled Bank Chef to join our team at Figbury Lodge. As a Bank Chef, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality, fresh, and home-cooked meals to our residents and staff.

You will work closely with our Home Manager, Nutritional Therapist, and staff to ensure that our catering services meet the highest standards. Your responsibilities will include:

  1. Preparing, cooking, and serving meals in a timely manner.
  2. Providing a varied diet that caters to the cultural preferences of our residents.
  3. Catering for celebrations and other events in our Home.
  4. Ordering supplies within the catering budget and company policy guidelines.
  5. Maintaining accurate catering records in accordance with HACCP.
  6. Participating in inspections by Environmental Health and/or care regulators and Local Authorities.
  7. Maintaining a high standard of hygiene within the kitchen by adhering to HACCP and COSHH guidelines.
  8. Assisting in the maintenance of a safe and healthy working environment.

Requirements:

We are looking for a motivated and experienced Bank Chef who is passionate about providing excellent food services. You will have:

  • Excellent culinary skills and knowledge of food safety and hygiene.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to manage the Catering Team.
