Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Joinery Lecturer to teach joinery courses with elements of plastering and decorating. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing teaching materials and lesson plans, delivering engaging sessions, and assessing student work.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and deliver high-quality teaching materials and lesson plans.
• Deliver engaging and interactive sessions using various teaching methods.
• Assess student work and provide constructive feedback.
• Conduct quality assurance activities to ensure the highest standards of teaching and learning.
• Build strong relationships with learners to support their progress and well-being.

Requirements:

• Teaching qualification (e.g., AET, PTLLS, PGCE)
• Level 3 qualification in Joinery
• Experience in classroom-based teaching, preferably with 16-19-year-olds in education.
• Ability to manage student behavior and maintain a positive learning environment.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Enhanced DBS check.
