Overview of the Role

We are pleased to announce a remarkable opportunity within the Vascular department for a Band 3 Vascular Pathway Coordinator.

This position is essential in supporting the Vascular Network, which provides specialized services across multiple facilities. We are seeking a dynamic and exceptionally organized individual to join our dedicated team. This role entails a full-time commitment, operating Monday through Friday.

Key Responsibilities

The successful candidate will collaborate closely with the Vascular Pathway Coordinator to ensure that all cases within the Vascular specialist pathway are managed efficiently.

Responsibilities include:

  • Utilizing patient tracking systems and work lists to input data accurately into relevant databases, ensuring that patient records are consistently updated.
  • Serving as a central point of contact for escalations regarding patient pathways throughout the Vascular Network.
  • Proactively communicating with the Vascular Pathway Coordinator and operational teams about the status of individual patients, promptly addressing any issues or delays.
  • Participating in weekly multidisciplinary team meetings, documenting outcomes from consultations, and executing actions as directed by the Patient Coordinator.

Qualifications

Essential

  • Minimum GCSE qualifications, including at least Grade C in Mathematics and English.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.

  • Previous experience in a hospital administrative role.
