Job Description

As a key member of our production team at Gem Partnership Ltd, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our automated enclosing process. Your primary responsibility will be to work collaboratively with the team to produce high-quality customer mailings, adhering to strict quality procedures and SOPs.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Line Set-ups: Complete line set-ups within given timescales to ensure efficient production.
  • Stock Management: Ensure stock is correctly loaded and prepared for automated enclosing, as detailed in works instructions.
  • Quality Checks: Conduct regular quality checks to guarantee 100% accuracy against customer specifications.
  • End-of-Line Checks: Perform thorough end-of-line checks, including inkjet quality, hex checks, and mail mark barcode integrity.
  • Stock Retrieval and Sorting: Retrieve and sort stock according to works instructions, and return any excess stock to the backstock area.
  • Machine Maintenance: Assist in the repair and correction of minor machine breakdowns, such as strappers and stackers.

Requirements: To be successful in this role, you will need to be highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to work effectively in a team environment. Strong communication skills and a commitment to quality are essential.
