Job Title: Apprenticeship Tutor

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Apprenticeship Tutor to join our team at National Skills Agency. As an Apprenticeship Tutor, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality training and support to our apprentices, helping them to achieve their full potential and succeed in their careers.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct skills reviews with apprentices and employers to identify areas for improvement and develop tailored training plans.
  • Deliver training sessions on functional skills, knowledge, and behaviours, ensuring that apprentices meet awarding body standards.
  • Assess skills and behaviours, providing constructive feedback and guidance to apprentices.
  • Support apprentices in creating action plans and monitoring their progress towards achieving their goals.
  • Collaborate with employers and line managers to ensure that apprentices are meeting their learning objectives and making progress towards their qualifications.
  • Record and report on apprentice progress, identifying areas where additional support may be needed.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with employers and apprentices, providing exceptional customer service and support.
Requirements:
  • Hold a qualification or have experience in the subject area.
  • Have up-to-date industry knowledge and be able to develop strong professional relationships with employers and learners.
  • Hold Level 2 Numeracy and Literacy qualifications and have experience of working with employers in a training or customer relations role.
  • Be able to motivate learners and ensure they complete on time, with high levels of motivation and the ability to use own initiative.
  • Hold a full driving licence, have own vehicle, and be willing to travel to customer sites.
