Exciting Opportunity for a CNC Miller

Major Recruitment Huddersfield is proud to partner with our esteemed engineering client based in the Huddersfield area. Our client is a highly regarded manufacturer of high-quality, special precision bearings used in diverse industries, including F1 teams, oil and gas, hyper cars, vintage aircraft, and cryogenics.

We are seeking a skilled CNC Miller to join our growing team and contribute to the expansion of our Machining Division. As a CNC Miller, you will work alongside highly skilled engineers on modern machinery, utilizing your skills to grow with our company.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Programming Fanuc Systems on 4 Axis, 4+1 Axis Hurco & Leadwell machining centres.
  • Inspection skills.
  • PC skills; Microsoft Excel/ Word.
  • A good understanding of working with Steel, Aluminium, Bronze, Plastics.
  • Experience machining to tight tolerances.
  • Ability to confidently read and interpret engineering drawings.

Working Hours:

  • Monday to Thursday: 7:30 till 4:00.
  • Friday: 7:30 till 1:30.
